Cleaner Bank Details, Faster Refunds & Clearer PTO Approvals [Product Updates]

As we closed out 2025 and stepped into a brand-new year, we shipped a couple of meaningful product updates designed to reduce friction, improve accuracy, and save time for both clients and managers.

Here’s what’s new:

Client Bank Accounts: A Dedicated Place for Financial Details

We’ve introduced a new Bank Accounts section in the Client App, making it easier to securely store and manage bank details used for deposit refunds and future financial operations.

What’s new

  • Clients can now add and manage bank accounts directly in Client App → Account Settings → Bank Accounts
  • During Offboarding → Deposit Refund, clients can select a saved bank account instead of re-entering details manually
  • Bank account forms automatically adapt based on the client’s country, ensuring only relevant and compliant information is collected

Country-specific details (built for accuracy)

  • United Kingdom: Account holder name, sort code, and account number
  • EU & SEPA countries: IBAN and SWIFT/BIC only
  • United States: Account number and routing number (ACH/Wire)
  • Rest of the world: Flexible fields based on local requirements, with optional IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, and notes

Why this matters

This update removes repetitive manual entry, reduces errors, and speeds up workflows — especially during offboarding when deposit refunds are time-sensitive. The result? Fewer delays, cleaner data, and a smoother client experience.

Clearer PTO Email Notifications for Faster Approvals

We’ve also improved PTO request email notifications by adding the total number of days requested directly into the email.

What’s new

  • PTO emails now show the total time-off duration at a glance
  • Works across all time-off types submitted through the platform
  • No extra clicks needed to understand the request impact
Days requested on the RemoFirst platform now appear in email notifcation.

Why this matters

With clear, transparent PTO request emails, managers can approve faster and with confidence, employees see their requests communicated clearly, and everyone avoids confusion or mistakes.
